This is where I live

Seeing as it´s been more than two weeks since my last update, I have a lot to catch up on...
This is my neighborhood! The top picture shows my house and the bottom picture shows my street. My house is the one with the white walls and red gate (just past the trees). My neighborhood is actually really nice and quiet compared to some areas and it is relatively close to everything. I am able to walk to my spanish classes in the morning--about 2.5 miles in one direction-- and then to my Latin American studies classes in the afternoon--about a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction. It´s lots of walking, but surprisingly I have made a few friends to walk with me that live near by.
My classes are going really well so far. I don´t think my spanish has gotten much better, but hopefully that will come eventually!

Nice to see where you live! Looks like a good, normal neighborhood. Any problem dogs? What kind of views do you have -- or has it always been too cloudy? Please give your host family big hugs and thanks from us!

Have you heard roosters that wake you up in the morning?
